From the southwest suburbs of Chicago ...
The magic of old-style low-power stations in Illinois is the heart of my 88.1 log. It starts with WLTL La Grange, some 10 miles northwest of me, and the 180 watts of Lyons Township High's award-winning station. Next is WLRA Lockport, 140 watts from Lewis University (though they would crank up the power once upon a time until the FCC got wind of it). Then three 10-watters over the years: WUIC (believed RIP) from Illinois-Chicago on the city's near west side, WETN Wheaton, and WSSD (RIP) Chicago. Finally, two more recent catches: WTZI Rosemont (300 watts) and WBMF Crete (90 watts).

A weak signal from a new station - WTHA in Berlin NJ. It appears to be a variety station operating on a number of frequencies around Philadelphia. It is based in Warminster PA. It used to be WNJS relaying WHYY in Philadelphia with NPR programming. I can also pick up a weak WYPR in Baltimore with NPR programming if I swing the antenna around.

At Oakland, California, or at least my location in Oakland: Not much. Traces of what might be class-D KECG from El Cerrito, but I haven't caught an ID to make sure. The school district that runs the station doesn't have a schedule online.
From personal history - student-run KCOU at the University of Missouri in Columbia. Started out as a carrier-current operation; went to FM at 88.3 as a 10-watter and moved to 88.1 when it got a boost to 430 watts in 1975. I was the news director there in 1978. I believe WUIC eventually became WCRX (Columbia College). WETN is now WLWX (K-Love).

I've managed to HD decode for call letters of KLTU this year from an I/Q file. It is possible to do HD Decoding from I/Q files without TX to a HD radio, but it's not the most user friendly thing in the world.
