FM Frequency of the Week - 88.9 MHz

What do you all get on 88.9 MHz?

Here in Vermilion, OH it is a rather weak WRDL/Ashland, OH often mixed with a weak WTPG/Whitehall, OH (south of Toledo). WSTB/Streetsboro, OH also makes occasional appearances.

From Coldwater, MI-

A relatively open station. Mostly WSND Notre Dame, IN, WJYW Union City, IN (Cont. Christian- Joy FM) and WDBM East Lansing, MI (Michigan State University student radio). Sometimes WTPG Whitehouse, OH and WJTA Glandorf, OH will make it in.

WSND also signs off at night. In their absence, I can get WWGN from Ottawa, IL with the Sonlife Radio Network.

I've managed WKYU Bowling Green, KY (Public Radio- Western Kentucky University) on occasion as well.

I have confirmed WSHA Raleigh and WCVE Richmond. I likely have heard WUND Manteo and I hope I can catch WNSC Rock Hill.

Allendale, MI: A fair to good WBLU Grand Rapids, MI

Manistee, MI: A very weak WVRN Wittenberg, WI if one can get around 100kW 88.7 WIAA 30 miles away

I usually get WHLP Hanna Indiana in Lake County Indiana, despite the stronger 100kw WMBI-FM on 90.1, having a much stronger signal into the same area. Except for near the Gary Area Career Center area, where their tower & antenna is for WGVE Gary on 88.7, WHLP can be heard in parts of Gary as well.

Here in Warminster PA, after local WXPN moved down to 88.5 FM, WBYO from Sellersville(a contemporary christian station known as "The Word FM") has been dominant on 88.9 FM.
