Northern England: BBC Radio 2, Holme Moss at 250,000 watts. No chance for DX - you can hear it on a piece of the proverbial wet string!

At my location in the near north Chicago suburbs it's all WNUR the Northwestern Univ station. Very good signal.

At my location 89.3 is usually blank. Sometimes a whiff of Radioman's aforementioned WNUR. The 7.2 kilowatt signal barely makes it into McHenry county where I live.

East Tennessee----not much of anything. Sometimes WMKW, Crossville TN drifts in.

I use to listen to WNUR in Delphi Indiana 110 miles SE of Chicago. I had a 10 element beam up 50 feet. I even pulled in some of the Chicago ten watt stations as well like WZRD.

KCMP Northfield "The Current" (owned by Minnesota Public Radio). It comes in faint but we have 2 or 3 repeaters that are in Mankato

Central Kansas:
A blank local frequency, though KCUR/KCMO will pop in depending on the day.

North Iowa:
Blank as well, but tropo tends to bring in KCMP/Northfield. Soon, this frequency will be occupied by a Catholic station, as the organization that operates Iowa Catholic Radio in Des Moines won a license.

145 watt KOHL, out of Fremont.
The signal doesn't get as far south as my residence, but when I'm up in the Santa Clara / Sunnyvale / Mountain View area, the signal is quite good.
