FM Frequency of the Week - 91.7 MHz

What do you all get at 91.7 FM?

Here in Vermilion, OH it is mostly WUOM/Ann Arbor, MI (University of Michigan Public Radio). Go south a few miles and WOSV/Mansfield, OH (classical) mixes in then eventually takes over a few more miles south.

In Indianola, IA it is a rather weak KICG/Perry, IA (classical)
 
Manistee, MI: Local translator W219DK Freedom Radio FM (before the translator signed on, 91.7 was wide open with WCML and WXPR making appearances the most often)
Allendale, MI: Semi-local AFR station WMCQ Muskegon
 
Here in Monroe, WA it's a fair signal of KXOT Tacoma. I also sometimes get a VERY weak signal of KSVR up in Mount Vernon, running 170 watts.

In Edmonds, WA it was take your pick of KXOT, and when off, KSVR, KZAZ Bellingham with 120 watts and sometimes CKAY Gibsons, BC (2.1kw with classic hits).

In Yakima, WA it was a weak KBLD Kennewick, WA with a DSP-enabled receiver, but all others received splatter from KDNA.

In Portland, OR it's KOPB hash.

In Pacific Beach, WA it's only just KXOT.

I've also received KALW San Francisco, CA (E-skip, 8/2/12, closest skip ever at 675-80 miles).

For me in Baldwin County, Alabama, it's literally dependent on which way the wind blows.

It could be WEGS, a Moody Radio affiliate in the Pensacola suburb of Milton. Or it could American Family Radio's WAOY from Gulfport, Mississippi. Either way it's nothing I'd ever want to purposely listen to.
 
Here in Warminster PA(Philly 'burbs), it's mostly WBMR from Telford PA, a religious station. There's also WKDU from
Philly, the Drexel-owned rock station, and WLBS from Levittown PA(Bucks County), which rebroadcasts 89.3 WRDV
from here in Warminster.
 
From near downtown St. Petersburg, WFTI 91.7 currently rebroadcasting the Joy FM (88.1-Sarasota) is a solid signal and at over 110 dbu's, I have never heard anything beneath them even in heavy tropo or e-skip conditions; being .75 miles from their tower at the intersection of 4th St and Central Ave, 3,000 watts with a tower height of 282 feet; when they came on the air, they were atop of what was in 1986 St. Petersburg's tallest building at around 24 stories, since that time they are three or four taller building with the highest being a downtown condo tower with 40 stories.

WFTI will have to go dark soon, since WJIS the Joy bought the station mainly to shut it down and increase the power and tower height (as well as location) on one of their other stations on 91.5. (no CP's are listed yet on radio locator).

91.7 is a great DX freq here in south FL----that is, when our pirate ("Starz FM") shuts off.

To the west, WMKO Marco.
To the NW, WVIJ Port Charlotte
To the N, WWFR Stuart

But none of the 3 above will cancel true DX :)
