Tyler TX:

Several stations show up at 94.5 here. Most frequently is KRUF "K-94.5" Shreveport, CHR. Also get KZMJ "Magic 94.5" Gainesville, Urban Contemporary frequently, and KTBZ-FM "94-5 The Buzz" Houston, active rock on occasion.

WCFB - Daytona Beach-Orlando FL - Star 94.5 - R&B/ soul //HD1-2 - 2023 - most commonly heard

WARO - Naples – Fort Myers FL - Arrow 94.5 - Classic rock - 2005

WYEZ - Murrells Inlet SC - Movin’ 94.5 R&B – Georgetown area - 2014

kw - Melbourne FL

Wilmington Delaware

A fair signal from WDAC Lancaster PA with Christian programming. This is the only FM station from the NW that I can hear from my SE facing apartment. I heard WCMS from Buxton NC Friday evening with major TROPO conditions in place.

East Tennessee: One of our few remaining fairly open frequencies, 94.5 was the home of a pirate in Maynardsville, TN that operated very much in the open. Marked offices and studios, a visible tower, and a public fundraiser for a new tower. It happened to be first adjacent to John Pirkle's 94.3, which, as long as he was leasing it out, he didn't apparently much care, but when he took the station back, the pirate suddenly announced "we've been sold to a company up north" and went online-only.
Most often I'll hear WMXL, Lexington, KY. I've heard a talk station a couple of times that was carrying Rush Limbaugh. The closest talk station on 94.5 is WGTK, Greenville, SC which as far as I know did not carry him. That would have left WPTI in Eden (Greensboro-High Point) NC. I'm open to other suggestions. In one our rare good tropo openings, I nabbed WJOX in Birmingham AL.

Hartland, VT:
W233CC White River Junction, carrying WEEI-FM Boston. The local originating station is a mystery. Radio-Locator insists that it's WGXL-FM, a Hot AC station, but it seems to be carrying WTSV(AM) Claremont, NH, instead, as is W232DN Claremont at 94.3. The two translators' coverage areas overlap here.

Meriden, CT:
A very weak WERB Berlin, Berlin High School's station, on the air sporadically with students usually playing music much older than they are -- classic hits and classic country -- or on autopilot playing the same sort of music.

Oakland, CA - KBAY Gilroy (San Jose). Picked up the country baton after KRTY sold to EMF. There's nothing else on this channel in the immediate Bay Area, though there is a station in Ukiah (KWNE) in Mendocino County. I've never heard it.

Central Kansas:
Up until the sign of translator K233CF/Abilene in the last decade, WIBW-FM/Topeka would easily blast into my location, particularly on hills (as my location sat outside their primary coverage area). Before its move to 97.5 in ‘02, KJCK-FM/Junction City would come in with a strong signal. Now, it’s a mix of K233CF and WIBW.

North Iowa:
A weak signal from KKEZ/Fort Dodge, with occasional reception of KSTP-FM/St. Paul.

South of Jackson, TN.

KKLR-FM Clear 94 - 227km/~140mi. Not that strong but listenable if you don't mind a little fuzziness.

South Mississippi:

WJZD Long Beach, MS - JZ 94.5 The People's Station (urban contemporary) is the local
These have come in on occasion:
KSMB Lafayette, LA - The #1 Hit Music Station
WFLF Parker, FL - Rock 94.5
WJOX Birmingham, AL - Jox 94.5 (sports)
KTBZ Houston - 94.5 The Buzz
WPST Trenton, NJ - 94.5 PST #1 Hit Music Station
WDAC Lancaster, PA - The Voice of Christian Radio
CIBU Wingham, ON - Cool 94.5 (classic hits)

94.5 at my location northwest of Chicago is usually splatter from locals on 94.3 and 94.7. Occasionally WKTI from Milwaukee breaks through. But not very often. 14 kw from WTMJ-TVs 900-foot stick a couple of miles north of Milwaukee's downtown.

No WPST?

Nothing around Columbus, Ohio, with the presence of light rock "Sunny 95" WSNY next door on 94.7.
WYDB from Dayton isn't nearly strong enough to break in around here, and even back in the pre-digital days wasn't all that listenable until past London.
The 94.5 in my college town of Toledo, WXKR, still pumps out classic rock with one of the better signals in town. If memory serves, they have a great directional signal to the east and west but get hemmed in somewhat to the north because of Detroit's WCSX on 94.7.

No surprise on the Dayton signal, it's 6000 watts licensed to Englewood. Get south of town and WMXL will often make it in.
