FM Frequency of the Week - 99.3 MHz

What can you get on 99.3 FM? In Vermilion, OH it is mostly IBOC hash from local WGAR 99.5 in Cleveland. Sometimes I do hear the French CBC station from London, ON break thru the hash. Recently during an E-Skip I heard a '99.3 the Beat' that I wasn't able to tell which one it was.

Northern VA, I get IBOC hash from WIHT 99.5 in DC. When I try to null the IBOC, I can hear WFQX Front Royal, VA or WVBX Spotsylvania, VA.

The 99.3 the Beat may be WEBZ Mexico Beach, FL, near Panama City.

99.3 MHz in Bellingham, WA is CFOX, a Vancouver, BC active rocker. Further south towards Seattle, KDDS "La Grande D", a ranchera music station comes in.....

In Bellevue, WA it's KDDS Elma, WA (La Gran D Regional Mexican).

In Yakima, WA it's KIT Yakima (News/Talk). Further N on Manastash Ridge, I can get KDRM Moses Lake (Hot AC).

In Portland it's IBOC from KWJJ 99.5, even in the east side (Gresham).

If the 99.3 The Beat was hip hop, it was Panama City.

Here in Baldwin County, it's a very faint (usually) copy of WMFC "Oldies 99.3" from Monroeville in Monroe County, Alabama. It's one of the oldies networks that isn't TOC. I forget which.

The slightest bit of east/west tropo, though, and it's often WEBZ Mexico Beach, FL, the aforementioned "99.3 The Beat".

From Warminster PA(Philly 'burbs, as I like to say it), it's usually splatter from 99.5 WJBR in Wilmington. Sometimes,
WMID-FM from Atlantic City comes in here.

NW Suburbs of Chicago - Crystal Lake, IL

WAJK LaSalle, IL - this one heard most often here.
WJQK Zeeland, MI
WKVI Knox, IN

FM Frequency for this week - 99.3 MHz (since this didn't get very many replies on the first go-around)

99.3 here in Vermilion, OH has been nothing but I-BLOCK from WGAR 99.5. If anything breaks through the hash, it's CJBC-FM from London, ON (simulcast of CJBC-AM 860)

Where I live in Columbus I used to get 99.3 WNXT from Portsmouth and sometimes WTNS from Coshocton before EMF moved their translator from 88.1 to 99.3.

Allendale: Local WJQK Zeeland
Manistee: Local WOUF Beulah (when they're on). When they are not, which is often, WOWN Shawano, WI usually comes in.

If I'm lucky in eastern Lake County Indiana, I might get WKVI-FM Knox, IN. Otherwise, nothing, because 99.1 is an open frequency in the Chicago market, & get little splatter from WUSN Chicago on 99.5.

For the most part all I get on 99.3 in Woodstock,Georgia is bleedover from 99X

In my neck of the woods, Warminster PA(Philadelphia area), it's usually splatter from semi-local 99.5 WJBR. I have gotten WMID-FM
(ex-WGRF, ex-WLQE) from Atlantic City in tropo situations.

From my hometown I can hear WJZS or whatever they are now under WPLM-FM splatter. At my house now, I'm too close to WPLM-FM/99.1.

From Gaffney, SC - WBT-FM with a good signal.
A few times during tropo I have gotten interference from WWKT in the Florence/Kingstree area.

From Coldwater, MI-

Semi-local WBET-Sturgis, MI

During tropo I can get
WCJC- Van Buren, IN- Country
WKVI- Knox, IN- AC
WATZ- Alpena, MI- Country
WOUF- Beulah, MI- Rock
CJBC4F- London, ON- French
