Happy New Years!
In Cheyenne, WY:
I will occasionally get tropo from KETT Mitchell, NE (91 miles away, and I hear they will move to 99.5). I don't have much E-skip to report, although July 24th brought something in English, and at the time I was getting South Carolina.
Travel: KETT has RDS.

Happy New Year!
East Tennessee: A weak WNRX, Jefferson City, MO. This used to be a simulcast of WNML's sports talk (99.1) , but Cumulus wanted to move 99.1 closer to Knoxville, so they took 99.3 silent, moved and lowered its power as much as possible, eventually selling to Lakeway Broadcasting, owner of WJFC. From the other direction, there is WPBX, Crossville TN,

Sideband of KWJJ.

South Mississippi:

The lower HD sideband of WRNO New Orleans normally blocks any other stations. The closest is WLAU Heidelberg, MS, the Supertalk Mississippi station for the Laurel/Hattiesburg area. Before TeleSouth purchased WLAU from Clear Channel in 2012, they were classic country as "Eagle 99".

Given that I am only about 20 miles S of the border, it is Class C CFOX Vancouver for me. I find the station's programming to be pretty fascinating, a rock-forward high tempo alternative station that plays the occasional "oldie" like Back In Black. And they are #1 in M25-54. Realizing that it is a different country and all, but I just wonder if some of the American "Alt" stations might do well by giving them a listen. Their last ten tunes tonight:

CAGE THE ELEPHANT AIN'T NO REST FOR THE WICKED

THE GLORIOUS SONS PANIC ATTACK

MATT MAESON HALLUCINOGENICS

SMASHING PUMPKINS TODAY

DEAR ROUGE I HEARD I HAD

VAN HALEN RUNNIN WITH THE DEVIL

54-40 BABY RAN

MILKY CHANCE COLORADO

BILLY TALENT TRY HONESTY

SEMI CHARMED LIFE THIRD EYE BLIND

Coastal Alabama:

In years past, this was a fairly reliable signal from WMFC in Monroeville, about an hour north of me. But they have fallen on hard economic times and have been running reduced power via an STA for a year or two now.

Nowadays the most common is WEBZ Mexico Beach (Panama City) Florida, but only when ducting seems to be kicking up a little.

WLAU Hat-ties-burg is also heard, but only occasionally.

Here in my neck of the Seattle metro area it's KDDS, La Gran D, Elma, WA -- often (but not always) in stereo on my better FM radios. They're about 100 miles away as the crow flies, and one of two FM'ers I can hear that are piped out of Grays Harbor County (the other Grays Harbor County FM'er being KOMO-FM 97.7).
