FM HD check

While running some errands in my wife's car which has an HD radio, I noted the following:

The simulcast of KMVK "La Grande" out of DFW on KLOL 101.1 HD2 has disappeared. Signal just has the HD1.

NASA's Third Rock Radio, which was reported as being on KHMX 96.5 HD2, was not on when checked. The HD1 and HD3 were both there, but no HD2 stream was present.

The KODA 99.1 HD2 is still running the Adult Rock format. Some ratings listings show this as a translator feeder for a Spanish language format. The HD3 originates La Nueva 94.1.

KKBQ 92.9 HD3 just had dead air when checked.

KPFT 90.1 HD2 ID's as an HD3, with an announcement apologizing for the discontinuation of BBC World Service due to financial issues. However this is a very old announcement as the BBC has been gone for quite some time, and the HD3 was dropped shortly after Rice Radio left the HD2. The current HD2 appears to be a hodge-podge of time shifted KPFT programming, but I have not done much listening to verify this.

Elsewhere the HD situation is pretty much the same.

KKBQ's HD3 seems spotty... I can pick it up about 30% of the time. KHMX-HD2 came in loud and clear without an issue for me this afternoon.

KILT swapped their HD subchannels... KILT-AM is now on the HD2, and the Texas country format is now on the HD3. It's a shame, the HD3 has better programming than their main channel (IMO) and has what sounds like the lowest bitrate out of any HD channel in Houston. The HD3's low bitrate makes it very hard to listen to.
