FM in Dahlonega

The the reason I asked which station you were asking about:

During the last NCE window there were a couple of apps to build non-comms in Dahlonega.

And the other reason would be: The current ownership of 104.3/WZTR is a Dawsonville based family. Though there has not been an application for change of COL, the mood seems to be that it has become a Dawsonville station.

Thought maybe you knew of some other station app that I had missed regarding FM in DAHLONEGA.
 
It is true WZTR-FM Thunder 104.3 is owned by a Dawsonville-based family, however, the station remains on 1376 Ben Higgins Road Dahlonega ... It's a Dahlonega station and will be forever. The station does serve Dawsonville as well. It has a great format ... This station really stepped beyond the Atlanta-market cookie cutter formats. The Web site is www.thunder1043fm.com. I think they stream live ...

There have been two non-comm station permits granted by the FCC to Dahlonega, and one in Dawsonville ... I think.
