It may happen in the future but not right now. Fresh is doing great. About time when 102.7 was a cursed frequency for years. Also 92.3 has bad ratings but they must be billing well to hang on to the station. The station will be 5 years old next month and still near the bottom.
I think they are realizing from their WFAN experiment that the uptick in ratings is not necessarily dramatic. If their ratings start to falter on AM then they will do it. Otherwise why mess with the dual revenue stream?
Let's just say for arguments sake they decide they need to blow up 92.3. Bad ratings. And they think all-news on FM would work. Which station would move there? WCBS or WINS?
