FM NewsTalk 104.7

Going from memory- I seem to recall in November of 2012 the station leapt to the top of the ratings because of the Presidential election and got something like a 7.1 for that month.

Perhaps if you can find some old copies of Rolling Stone? They used to print radio ratings at the back of every issue as I recall, and I know of no other source for historical radio ratings.

Though if there is such a source, I'd be happy if someone would let us know so we could discover it!

WPGB's high water mark with the N/T format was a 7.9 share in the Nov 2012 survey, which placed it in a tie for 2nd with WDVE and behind WSHH (P6+).

At the time, iHeart was trying talk on a number of its FM stations. But it backed off in a few places, such as KOGO San Diego and KNST Tucson, which lost their FM simulcasts. The same was true in Pittsburgh where iHeart decided the FM signal would be more valuable playing country music.

These days 1320 WJAS carries many of the Premiere Network talk shows that most iHeart stations run.
