88.1 KWAO Ocean Park [huge signal!]
88.3
88.5 KPLU Tacoma
88.7
88.9 KSWS Centralia from Lakewood-Olympia [didn't check public FM that much]
89.1 weak K206DR Shelton
89.3 KAOS Olympia

90.5 KACS Centralia
90.7 KSER Everett
90.9 KVTI Tacoma
91.1 KYPL Yakima [heard in the Dupont area, a "pipeline" area for Yakima's, and NO it was not KTJC Kelso, as it is CSN]
91.3 KBCS Bellevue but wasn't listening much. How far can you guys hear KCED in Centralia?
91.5 KOPB Portland, OR [Olympia only]
91.7 KXOT Tacoma
91.9 weak station, likely K220HE Centralia [13w, in Olympia]
92.1 at first I had K201AB West Seattle [recent move from 88.1 due to KWAO] then it mixed with CBU-FM1 Victoria, BC, then K221FJ Tacoma [KNTB-1480] took over by Federal Way. In Olympia it was K221DV Delphi
92.3
92.5 KQMV Bellevue
92.7
92.9 KDBL Toppenish [full TOH ID at 1400 as "KDBL Toppenish-Yakima". HUGE signal at times! Heard in Dupont, 110 mi away. Also a "pipeline" signal, as it faded away within 2 miles.] KISM Bellingham and KYAO's Olympia xlator also heard
93.1 nothing [is that Spanish pirate in Tacoma still on?]

94.5 KRXY Shelton after KMIH's xlator faded. Big signal through Tacoma, to Olympia.
94.7
94.9 KUOW Seattle

95.3 KXXK Aberdeen. Didn't check this frequency enough! Could have heard KXLE or CKZZ.

97.5
97.7 KOMO Oakville
97.9
98.1 KING Seattle

100.3 CKKQ Victoria, BC [and no sign of KKRZ]
100.5
100.7 KKWF Seattle
100.9
101.1 Pirate in Tumwater off [I guess.] Heard was CFMI New Westminster [in OLYMPIA, over 160 mi away from its transmitter!! Listenable too!] and KXL Portland, OR [the whole Tacoma-Olympia route]
101.3 nothing, was looking for KLWA Westport
101.5 KPLZ Seattle
101.7 first station heard was KLES Prosser [Regional Mexican, and over 150 mi SSE!! Pipeline signal, heard in Dupont.], then K269FT in Aberdeen [KXRO] and K201GB Centralia [with K-LOVE, formerly 88.1 before KWAO increased power]
101.9 KINK Portland, OR [and sometimes a good signal]

107.1 KRQT? Didn't fine tune but heard something on 107.2, 107.1 had nothing
107.3 CHBE Victoria [never heard KFFM Yakima however. They are 100kw! I could ID it in other areas because they have pitched-up 2% CHR, and CHBE does not.]
107.5
107.7 KNDD Seattle
107.9

Crainbebo,

Thanks for the report. Glad to hear that the pirate on 101.1 was off the air. I've always found it interesting that 99.5 KWJJ has such a good signal going north, with half the power of other stations.

Pat

crainbebo, you need to get an SCA rig if you haven't one already. That stretch of highway (nay, that whole corner of the state) is FULL of subcarriers to log, mostly out of Seattle! (They get more plentiful the farther north you go, it seems.)

Sad to hear the pirate on 101.1 was off the air. That's just one more independent voice that's been silenced, something that's desperately needed in a band full of crass commercialism. Unless they went off on their own accord; even still, too bad.

SCA rigs are pretty hard to find here. It would be interesting however, to hear how far S I can get the Evergreen Radio Reading Service on 94.9 KUOW's 67khz.

Try http://metrosonix.com/. My friend on the Umatilla reservation has a MS-1026, and it works very well.

I've heard Evergreen at least as far south as Centralia/Chehalis via KUOW/67. I think the conditions were favourable then; it usually tends to fade in (or out, depending on which way I'm going) around Fort Lewis' southern end.

Up in the Seattle area there's a fair amount of ethnic programming on SCA, mostly Asian and Middle Eastern music. Last I was up there on holiday, I also heard relays of KIXI (actually came in better around the Westlake Mall area than 880 itself!) and some mediumwave political talker. I also faintly heard a 67 kHz broadcast on a BC station.

[size=8pt]Via KFAE (Yakima), ERRS is usually pretty audible down the I-84 corridor in NE Oregon. You need a fairly steady hand tuning it in Pendleton, though, because KRBM right next door transmits EAS signalling on its 67 kHz sub! Signals tend to propagate better on that side of the Cascades than they do over here.
