FM or ahh.. RADIO 104.1

I've caught myself listening more and more to 104.1 lately. I think they have a good mix of songs.. unlike K-Rock in NYC. Is it me or is their playlist larger than other Rock/Alternative stations? All they have to do is get the right jocks for the station and I think they could move higher ratingswise as compared to when they were Power 104.1.

And of course bring back.. (RADIO) FM 104 Fest.

It is nice to have 104.1 back on my presets. They're playing stuff I haven't heard in 10 years. I wish the station great success.

i love it....i used to listen to radio 104 back in the day...i still have relatives in CT, so while there for the holidays, i listened, and now back in FL, i listen online everyday. good stuff

Before Power 104.1 flipped back to alternative rock what did you guys listen to? WCCC Im guessing.

Well since I'm down in the srtatford area, I would listen to Krock in New York but since they got stale with the music.. I tuned out. Once I heard 1041 switched back to rock I totally tuned in.

I say let them get their jocks and I bet you they will put the "radio" in front of 1041 again!

NO!!! Radio 104 was indeed terrible at the end. Too much waffle by the jocks, stupid imaging, a stale playlist and BTLS. They were trying to compete against WCCC which is a rock station. 104.1 began as an alternative station and sounded great in the mid-late 90's. By the time it flipped to Power, I think it was pretty awful. I'm glad alternative has been resurrected now though.

I was on a big modern rock kick in 1996-97 because of this station! Radio 104 at that time was incredible!

Me too, but then I stopped listening to the station in January 97 and started listening to KISS 95.7/KC-101. September 96 was the beginning of my Freshmen year in High School. That's when I got into the whole hip-hop/r&b thing. Then of course late March of 97 is when JAMZ 910 came on and the rest is history.

Now Jamz 910 was a kick-ass station for its time! I loved how they mixed in the adult urban songs which nobody else around here would touch. Kinda like WYBC-FM 94.3 of New Haven, only they (WYBC) won't play any hardcore hip hop.
