FM Translator on the way for WWWL-1350

Which side of New Orleans do you believe will receive the translator? It seems to me the Northshore would benefit most from a coverage standpoint.

Also, do you believe the translator purchase was Entercom's answer to offset WWWL's poor nighttime coverage?

Looks like Entercom has already entered the application and it'll be located on the Westbank in the Gretna "antenna farm".

With respect to nighttime coverage, I know WWWL's coverage is spotty, even as close as Metairie. Also, FM is definitely preferred over AM for listeners and they can only go up in ratings for this station. It has seen multiple formats over the past few years. Perhaps they can even go with a music format if they see more opportunity--something that wouldn't really work on AM these days.

Maybe a subject matter expert in the New Orleans area would be able to add some color.
