Just a randon question but would anyone have the knowlege of most of the Monterey Market FM transmitter sites?

Go to http://www.radio-locator.com

and type in Monterey CA.

My recollection is that most of the FM are on the hill between Monterry and Salinas.

By the way ...

That answer is the same for the San Francisco, Central California, or any other board you want to know the transmitter locations on.

"Random" questions don't appear on more than one board.

There are a couple of transmitter sites for FM and TV. One of the busiest is Hidden Hills:

Mt. Toro has three TV, three FM's and a bunch of translators, Fremont Peak has a few more TV and FM antennas, Hucklebery Hill in Pebble beach has two FM's, and the rest are either in the east foothills above Salinas, or in the case of KPIG, in the hills behind Elkhorn Slough.
