FM Video Bandscan from El Dorado National Forest

I just want to know what kind of antenna he was using............ ;)

Most car radios can't get an HD signal across town any more.

The HD reception is pretty amazing. I just put a similar but non-HD version of this tuner in my car (DEH-3400UB) and have been impressed with it. Great selectivity and pretty decent sensitivity, although the automatic gain can ruin sensitivity when near strong locals. But when theres no strong locals its amazing what a they will bring in.

Amazing video, Buckeyes! I really enjoyed it.

And to think how well the San Francisco stations come in at that distance and it's probably like that 24/7 and even better with tropo.

I've never heard an HD FM radio either so thanks for that experience too.

While camping at Jackson Meadows Reservoir back in the late 80s, I was able to pickup KWIN with a Sanyo boombox. Back then, they were only 3,000 watts. Picking up KITS (Live 105) up there is quite a catch.
