Don't know. Maybe they're working on their move to their new antenna on the State Street Bank building in town?

With the intense wind im surprised that more people werent having problems. During that time I could barely stand on my roof only 5 stories up.

The CP was authorized just a couple of weeks ago...not enough time to install a complicated antenna I think. Didn't WBUR take FIVE years to install theirs? From my perch 30 miles north of the old WHDH-TV5 tower, WBUR's signal is markedly improved on my primary FM with external antenna, and on my car radio travelling around the Merrimack Valley and Southern NH.

It didn't take very long for WBOT to install their new antenna on the Blue Hills once the CP was issued.

It is, they are going on the same side as WHRB, IIRC.

Also the outage was more likely due to the weather than the new antenna installation. The new antenna system will require a new DA antenna.
The new antenna comes with different power, and will most likely have a new transmitter install. Not to mention new STLs and such.

They are most likely building the new site with the old site still transmitting and do a "cold switch". There are chances the old site could be left in-tact as a standing aux site as well.

I tried looking at the FCC site to see if Program Test Authority had been issued. but that data isn't on the CDBS.

I doubt it...

I'm not sure even FNX would be moving their tower during the beginning of the Fall Book.

Although...it might get 'em some free press that other stations can use for an excuse during diary review time when they under perform.

...assuming Max and Co. get a kiss of course.

When they move I belive it's to One Financial.
