Yes, I am. But Bois doesn't understand, the kids of San Antonio can see through this bogus 'music' style. They know that commercial rap (or C-RAP as they call it) is just a ploy by the corporate masters to keep a steady supply of men with criminal records and un-wed mothers, because they know they can get away with paying them less.
From Edgewood to Roosevelt, from Marshall to Highlands, the kids have figured out that rap and the rap lifestyle is a dead end. If they chant in rhyme, chances are they're doing it in iamic pentameter. They call each other 'Homme' because they know it's French for 'Man'. If they 'bust a cap' they're talking about how they blew out a capacitor on their science project. They might listen to some of this C-RAP, but they also sing Volver-Volver and do the Chicken Dance. Bois won't like it, because he has so much invested in it, but C-RAP is on the way out. Things are getting too tight to waste time or energy on such nonsense.
(BTW- Good luck, Tino. Hope you enjoy your new gig.)
