That's great to hear that you're back! I'll be listening (and rolling tape) accordingly...

TIME MACHINE!

I may try to coax the Record Pig out of his pen...and that W-PEN.
7p-10p. Some great songs planned including stuff ya don't hear that much.
BE BIG!

The internet is a great thing. CBS-FM streaming in Stereo. I must say, AOL and CBS doin there thing is a good thing. Stereo sound over the web that actually sounds Decent. KYW sounds better on the net then it does on my SRF-42. I'm webchecking. This should be good.

I don't think its Jay personally, but he seemd to have a lot more freedom when at WNBC. It seems to me that there wasn't any jock talk. (Yes i heard the breaks, and to his credit, he did the best he could in the time he had alotted.) Seriously, I'm thinkin he could have done a better show if he had some more control over say the music, and a bit more time during the breaks.

I was asked to DO their format this time. They didn't want me to DO the same thing I did at WNNNBC...which of course WAS more of a "quirky" personality station with a bit more chatter. I DID do the Record Pig game...went well. I only aired the WINNER. It took QUITE some time..(almost the entire length of the LONG version of "Light My Fire" to get the answer. It was a good question I thought. It was "what EXACT item was sold for over a MILLION DOLLARS this passed July at an auction of an item from the front cover of the LP Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. The answer...the BASS DRUM SKIN with the Sgt. Pepper LOGO on it. A MILLION BUCKS. Wow. Wonder if MY skin will be worth that someday? Glad you guys could listen. I COULD have gone a little nuttier...but I wanted to play it this way THIS time...as I was asked to. They KNOW what I CAN do.. Hope that answers the question/comment.

Oh...and Thanks Kevin for listening down there in FLA. You're always a pal. Good luck with your next gig. You'll be great as usual.
