for Crummey's handlers at KTAR

I realize his show is phoned-in *from* LA, but if you're broadcasting *to* Phoenix, you should know that the to-be-cancelled "Jay Leno Show" is on at 9:00pm here and "The Tonight Show" is on at 10:30pm, not 10:00pm and 11:30pm, respectively, as Joe frequently says. So, please: If any of his handlers have access to the board, you may wish to send him an e-mail with a friendly reminder about Daylight Saving Time (which Arizona doesn't observe) so he doesn't sound like an idiot whenever he's talking about television shows. Thanks. :)

10:35, not 11:35. Actually if you want to completely anal about it--10:34:30,
not 11:34:30 (assuming Mc12 uses the network "begin" time and not something
else +/- a minute or so).

But I know what you're saying! :)

We should have a TV Geek 101 course at the Media Hut for what changes, and
what doesn't change, between the four months of standard time and the eight
of DST.

Duly noted. And I've instructed Nurse Jeff to make certain Media Hut students know it's Daylight Saving...not Daylight Savings. That was a failed thrift in the Old Gringo's barrio!

The Nurse and I aren't too hung up on those left coast idiosynchrosies heard on the Evil One's crummey show. He's as good as Dave Ramsey is bad on KT'R...but that's a whole nudder subject!

With the incredible amount of drama happening at night with NBC, I believe that it's best that we save as much daylight as we can, and then maybe we could save enough to keep it going through the night. Once we do this, then we could just get rid of the controversial term and time of "late night" and it wouldn't matter what time of the day Jay Leno.... or Carson Daly is shown.
