For Kids Sake

Can you think of any TV stations throughout the Nation during the late 80's & the early 90's that most of their children's programming slogans' that had "For Kids Sake"? I know channel 12 in Portland, channel 10 in Sacramento & channel 4 in Seattle had "For Kids Sake". Could you think of any other stations that had "For Kids Sake"?

Here were the call letters for those channels numbers and areas

Portland, Oregon: Channel 12 (KPTV)
Sacramento, California: CBS 10 (KXTV)
Seattle, Washington: ABC 4 (KOMO)

WGN-TV 9 Chicago
KPNX 12 Phoenix

For Kids' Sake was developed by Group W/Westinghouse in the '80s and syndicated in 1986, I believe. IIRC, WBZ-TV (though it could have been KPIX) launched it.

WCSH-TV (NBC) channel 6 of Portland, ME had their own version of it, while I lived near there from 1985 to 1987.

As did sister station WLBZ Bangor...WJBK Detroit also used For Kids Sake as well-most Maritime cable viewers got both WLBZ and WJBK during the period.

KDKA ran that in promos and PSA's so often it made you wanna puke.

In New York, WNYW/Fox 5 ran those melodious "For Kids Sake" PSA's; I had no idea it was part of a national campaign with other stations.

I believe KCNC 4 still uses it today (Though not as much as before)

Cheers & 73 ;D

WOFL Fox 35 in Orando did it as well as WXIA in Atlanta. With the latter, they had a unique logo, The For Kid's Sake logo n a diamond similar to the Walt Disney Classics logo.
