Overheard at at OAB dinner last week in Tulsa...one of the small "Tulsa" clusters may be on the market soon. The broker seems to already have a few interested owners. EMF?
Show us some leg. Don't blow in our ears and then walk away.
If not journal or shamrock, then it's got to be either Perry selling their urban stations. Or maybe the Stephens family unloading their two religous stations and their sports station. 100.3 and 97.1 are rimshots anyway.
If you look at their coverage, they're nearly the biggest FM stick in the state of Oklahoma.
The problem is, that their tower is way the heck out in the middle of nowhere. So they're not really city-grading any town with size worth mentioning other than Muskogee.
They look like they get closer to city grade in Fort Smith than Tulsa.
If that were true, they would already be sold. That would seem to be a reeasonable price unless they are making NO money which I strongly doubt. If they haven't been they will, CB will Git 'R Done.
