...Peck wasn't the one to hire JD. Rather, former WHJJ PD Bill Hess was the one to hire John DePetro. It was after Hess' departure that the 920 ratings began their long downtrend. In fact, DePetro LEFT after months with Peck at the helm of WHJJ.

Thats right, it was Hess.
