For those who care..... P&K info

I think it is on the bones myspace pages says "Their new show will be a mix of compelling talk, callers and rock, and can be heard Monday through Friday afternoons, 2:00pm to 6:00pm." NO MENTION OF ERIC so that is a plus a BIG plus if hes not on the show. I am curious what they will do so ill give it a wee listen. I wonder if they had to agree to stay off the ambiam for the show.
 
The BONE's web page has NO news on P&K going back on the air....YET......
 
Yes I heard the announcement and have already heard
commercials with them.. yeah!!!!!!! ;D

As a fan of the show who was consistently featured on HGD's, I am super excited to listen again. I like Jagger and B&S okay, but this (and BDH to a lesser extent) is my radio drug of choice. Viva le P&K.

And dude, mrchris, wtf dude? Why do you hate Eric so much? He hardly speaks, so I don't see how he can be an annoyance. Don't hate, he's an awesome guy.
 
From reading Pugs' latest blog, they may be trying to work something out with Eric. He mentioned being patient so who knows. I don't care for Eric on air but I'm sure he works very hard behind the scenes. I'm excited for them and I would love to see them take a chunk of Russ' audience. At the very least maybe Russ will come up with some original material for a change instead of playing recordings of explosions over and over again and replaying the Monday through Thursday shows every Friday for Everett or playing his guitar...badly.
 
I feel like an old friend has returned home. I'm willing to tolerate whatever the music format is just to hear P&K again.
 
As long as they dont become one giant live spot....I welcome them back to the airwaves.
 
Fantastic. 4 hours of American Idol talk and self righteous ambien-induced slurring mixed with rock and roll. A winner for sure.
 
I remember once they were broadcasting from starpower. I happened to be there getting a component cable made. As I walked by the them and they were on air. I farted and I farted loud about 4 feet from kelly. The look on her face was priceless. I still to this day wonder if it made it on air as they were live.

I wonder if they will still be the behind the scenes pre madonna jerk off at the bone. Hey PandK are you able to carry your own headphones yet?
 
The time surprises me a bit because of Kelly's kids. Middays may not be a glamour time slot, but it's perfect when you have kids to raise. I know that's a personal matter, but I wonder if 2-6 was her preferred time slot. Plus, the Bone doesn't have a morning show at the moment. They could have moved to morning drive and I think they would do really well.

As for the comment about going after Russ, I would say leave him alone. If you go on the attack, he's going to respond and he has a lot of people that will help him and he seems to win these battles every time. It's not worth their time. I think if they do their show, they will be fine and I imagine over time, they'll have plenty of time for stories about their former co-workers.

I like the fact that Gary is making some changes at The Bone. He'll do mornings until a fit is found. Too, why not hire Tasha Stevens full time even if it's at night 10-2? Moreover, The new youngster who cut his teeth in promtions for yearsover, Justin, is cool and a good fit for live nights. Keep it live 24/7.
