Monty Pierce passed away earlier this week. Monty was with Metro Traffic back in the "early years" and later was with Clear Channel on the Total Traffic. His service is tomorrow and his obit in the Chronicle today.
 
I'm very sorry to hear that news. I worked with Monty at both places and truly liked the gentleman. If memory serves me correctly, Monty was with Metro as early as the early-to-mid 80's when I went to work for them the first time. They were located on Loop Central (behind the Houston Post building) in those days. My condolences to Monty's family and friends.
 
I had the pleasure of working with Monty at TTN. I will always remember him and HOV Harry.

May he rest in peace.
