Sad news today from California. Annette Funicello, whom O'Brien & Garry idolized with their constant playing of "Pineapple Princess", died today at age 70 from her long battle with MS. I can remember many mornings listening to O'B & G and the fun they had with Annette's music. RIP.
 
I had such a crush for Annette, back in the Mickey Mouse Club days.
 
Boy, this is a senior crowd!

I'll try to compensate by saying I would have loved the Skippy's Peanut Butter spokeswoman to have gone all Mrs. Robinson on me back in the day.
 
Personally, I think we should set up some really big speakers along the Korean DMZ and play "Pineapple Princess" at ear-splitting volume until the North surrenders.
