For what it's worth 93 ROCK...well...rocks!

I have to say, 93 Rock picked up where Zeta left off years ago and would have kicked them collectively in the groin. Their playlist is not obscure enough that you dislike it, but not repeatative enough to drive you bonkers.

Their remotes (6/29 at Neptune Fireworks in Dania) suck, though...

I like the playlist but they are missing essential groups like 311, blink 182, U2, and the cure. I know they are active rock but having ozzy and AC/DC really does not fit in with their 90's alternative focus. Any comments?

They were all only on the alternative charts, but U2, of course, is on the active rock charts.

Zeta after the flip back to active rock used to play the beastie boys, U2, and 311.

The aforementioned do not fit their formats. If they added them the ratings would suffer. And, yes 93 does rock.

I agree.. I just moved down here and was a huge supporter of Party, but for some reason I could not see myself listening to the old, played out songs that Party was playing. The station had ZERO signs of life. Very boring.

However, I have been finding myself tuned into 93 Rock a lot more. It's a great station IMO. Hope they can keep it up.<P ID="signature">______________

Fine if you like Metallica every hour. Enjoy all the old stuff (Nirvana, STP, Alice, Soundgarden), not much into the new alt-rock bands, they all sound alike to me.

For what it's worth.....WPBZ is still a far better station than 93 rock.
I realize it is a West Palm station and that it is a modern rocker, not active.
For my money, they are the better station. Better promotions, much better jocks,
and their remotes are usually pretty solid. I've only made it to a couple of appearances, usually in Delray and Boca, but I did make it to one of their Wednesday night appearances at a bar in West Palm....the place was packed and the 2 guys from "The Buzz" really seemed to know how to manage the crowd. Don't get me wrong, 93rock is pretty cool....better than zeta was...but like I said, I prefer a more well rounded station like "The Buzz". It is just too bad that I live in Coral Springs and have a hard time getting them sometimes. I hope they start streaming soon!!
