For what its worth Q102 philly has HD2 Dance coming soon

Ive heard from a very reliable source, that Dance music is on its way for Q-102 in Philly. That means Philly will have 2 HD2 Dance Outlets to choose from. Too bad nobody owns an HD2 receiver yet....but maybe this will change within the next 5 years or so.

Well, there are a whole lot of Dance tracks being sent to Q102 lately.
 
Having dance tracks sent to a station does not mean a thing. THey get serviced from the dance labels like every other radio station that is top 40

Well, their are a ton of Dance songs on the Clear Channel Corporate server, that is sourced to Q-102.

don't keep me in the dark now .. I rarely post - but I'm FROM Philly -- and Wired told me they were going to be streaming their HD2 dance channel - and it has NOT happened yet .. so, WHERE will there be dance on the airwaves in philly ???

IMHO when Wired 96.5 offically makes the format jump from CHR/Rhthymic to CHR/Top 40 (see the Philly board to find out about that deal), Q102 ought to drop the HD2 idea and have its regular station return to its dance-friendly roots instead. G*d knows Philly needs some uplifting dance music on the radio these days!
