Glenn Rinker (deceased) TV 12 news, Glenn went on to acnchor in D.C. and Miami and run for Mayor of Miami and U.S. Congress. Ed Hider, did time at WKOP, and record-hop TV for WBJA. Worked for WINS in New York, KDAY in Los Angeles. Ed got his headphones unplugged on the air by a station manager when fired at KYA San Fran. Bob Kloss, now deceased. WNBF and WATS. Bob was a Triangle man who worked with Dick Clark. Perry Cooper,now deceased, Ed Hider brought Perry here from WINS where he was Murray the K's producer and did a week as P.D. for WPLJ. Perry did his local years at WKOP and WBJA went on to a successful record promotion career with Atlantic. Jim (Boland) Scott went from WENE to WNBC ( at the time, a truly astounding career-jump )
and then to Ohio. Jim Littleton, who was with WENE and then went on to do 2 live shows for 2 hours in the afternoon and then another hour in the evening on on a a brand new WBJA Television. Jim would play records, complain about his former radio employers, while the camera was aimed at record sleeves, Littleton was MTV before MTV.
