The interesting part is what these 10 people get in an industry in which the average and median incomes are below the federal poverty line.

I was just surprised Oprah and Beck ranked so highly when Beck doesn't have his Fox News show anymore and Oprah doesn't have her syndicated show anymore (though I'm sure she was #1 back in her heyday).

When Glenn Beck left FOX, he had his business model set. By charging $120 a year to a million or so fans, he would be set for life. Anything beyond that was gravy. And getting .33% of the American population to fork over $120 a year to "hear the truth" wasn't all that impossible. Plenty of folks disagree with him, but you have to admire his business savvy.

I'll never EVER get the Judge Judy thing. I mean, I guess I understand why she earns so much given her popularity, but I will never get why people enjoy watching her. Would you watch your mean old Aunt Biddy scold people for entertainment? I wouldn't. The same folks who watch Judge Judy, and those other 'judge shows' are the same ones who pick up those tabloid magazines at the supermarket so they can read the latest developments between Brad and Angelina, or one of the Kardashians.
