Ford - Pure Imagination

I had to post a dance track that had nothing to do with Cascada! LOL

I've heard this a couple of days ago on Party 105.3 (Long Island) and LOVE IT! Basically it's a tranced up version of the song on Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory that Gene Wilder sang (the part just before Augustus got sucked up into the chocolate pool pipe), but this time with female vocals.

This is definitely one wicked track that radio should consider.

New?

The movie was out last summer and BPM was playing the song then.

Note to Tony: you need to get an XM radio.

I actually heard it on THE BEAT on Sirius over a YEAR AGO,,,, It was last Winter. The song was only played a couple times though, and then dropped.

I think this record is pure garbage. Mainstream dance in the US is at an all time low right now. It's all covers & novelty records. If you want some GOOD mainstream dance, check these out...

Mish Mash "Speechless" (Data)
Gabriel & Dresden Featuring Molly "Tracking Treasure Down" (Organized Nature)
September "Looking For Love" (Catchy Tunes)
Marco V "False Light" (Maelstrom)
Shapeshifters "Incredible" (Positiva)
Joey Negro "Make A Move On Me" (Data)

That pretty much sums up some of my favorites as well. Would be nice to see some of the abovementioned records cross over somehow, but I wouldn't hold my breath :(

Energy 98 is playing some of those

A good place to hear some of these songs right now, is on Energy 98, BTW, Mikeo brought back some of the old Jocks,,,, Probably sounds the best Musically, and imaging out of all the Energy stations.

Note to myself..SHUT UP! LOL

I was getting sick of seeing the Cascada arguments so I thought I'd add in something different!

Oh, BTW, I heard this GREAT track, by some artist, uh...Gloria Gaynor. I think the women will dig it!

LOL (all good joking around!) :)

Creepy but good, I like it. Just one word of advice, don't listen to the song when you're in the piney woods at night. Gets ya a little freaked out.

Too bad the song came out about 5 months too late, around Halloween it would have been very appropriate.
