Foreign Ownership Rules

If that were the reason and Lincoln Financial would otherwise want to hold on to its media holdings, I think a deal to be acquired would be in place before LF tried to divest its media. An acquisition like that would take a long time to happen, and I'm sure the FCC would give a foreign owner time to sell the media division.

Quite possibly but all these deals start as little quiet off the books conversations. If the interest was expressed but possibly the media being a potential problem, them may have gotten the ball rolling. In all honesty I'm sure you can't justify a billion plus dollars to acquire those properties. It would take you way to long to recoup.
