Forgetting to remember

Perhaps I missed it, but as I tuned in to the Mr Marbles-Led group of Pamal stations today, I couldn't help but notice the lack of preparation that is going in to the Memorial Day programming. WSYB morning, same ol' same ol'...snoooooooze! After that show put me to sleep, I tuned in to the other Marbles-Led stations and found little on no thought out, creative programming to honor our troops...Not surprised, but VERY disappointed! Anyone else notice?

Gee whiz golly gee Mr. Poon,

Always looking for the negative? How about just enjoying the weekend, for once, without looking for a fire at our beloved headquarters? Someone burn you hot dog bun [EDIT]?

From what I can tell, all at Pamal is sounding GREAT! Revenues are up, each station sounding better than ever WHAT A GREAT YEAR!

Next time Poon, perhaps you should turn the flame down on BBQ so you don't burn the chicken!

Love,

Tisk tisk Phantom...Being a nuahgyt boy gets you in trouble with Mr Editor! but hey, being that you are informed from afar, please re-visit the orignal post, but keep in mind the difference between "negative" and "reality". Negative is "you stink, I hate this place!!", reality is..'nothing was done by Marbles to honor our troops"...Any questions? Enjoy the ride up I91

Dear Mr. Poon...the remark was your "last" name with "boy" at the end...hardly inflammatory (no disrespect to the board editor).
From what I can tell Mr. Poon, you have nothing positive to say about Pamal or ANY of its radio stations, employees or even the building. All the negativity lowers your credibility here. Try being a little nicer once in a while.

Lets ask the masses here on the board.

What are the good things you've been noticing lately about the re-vamped Pamal Rutland stations?
What are the bad things you've been noticing lately about the re-vamped Pamal Rutland stations?

Be honest. We Phantoms don't mind a little constructive PROFFESIONAL criticism.

Making radio a better place to be, one listener at a time!

Ah who cares? What's really important is if WWLR remembered! :p (Yes, Jamie that's an open invitation to hijack this thread! ;D)

Aside from that, for those stations that do that's wonderful! However, I can tell you I did plenty of remembering over here in Afghanistan (see? I hijack good thread! :D) In fact, we remember much more often than simply Memorial Day, but I did take the time on the air to give 15 seconds moment of silence for all our fallen comrades! (If anyone wants the MP3, just message me, I have it recorded.)

And I thank all those who do, whether they do so publicly or not.

God bless.
