Forgotten, Not Gone

Quinn Cummings apparently got out of show business because she was not comfortable being in the public eye. Upon the birth of her first child, she got an inspiration and invented the "HipHugger" baby toting sling, which she has successfully markets and manufactures.

I saw that on VH1's Greatest Child Stars countdown...Regarding Randy Boone, isn't he Pat Boone's brother?

Lets not forget Angela Cartwright from Lost In Space...Will Robinson's sister Penni. Johnny Crawford from The Rifleman has his own website, just Google his name. Whatever became of Marta Kristen the older sister of Will Robinson?

Angela Cartwright was too pretty to ever forget. She's kind of reminiscent of the girl in school who broke your heart and you never forgot about through the years.

In one episode of Lost In Space, there's a scene where guest Michael J. Pollard walks with Angela and holds her hand. I envied him.

Ms. Cartwright is frequently mentioned in an earlier post, Early TV Crushes. And deservedly so. She broke many hearts.

Angela Cartwright was also in "The Danny Thomas Show" as Danny Williams' adopted daughter, Linda. Season 5 and 6 of "Danny Thomas/Make Room for Daddy" are out on DVD now..(First 2 seasons with Marjorie Lord)

I think almost every actor associated with the TV show "Bewitched" has passed away with the exception of Dr. Bomby, Bernard Fox. :'(

Erin and Diane Murphy who played Tabitha and Greg and David Lawrence who played Adam are still very much with us, Erin is heard from a lot more than Diane Murphy and the Lawrence twins.

I assume these inquiries are rhetorical, because a few minutes with Google will bring you information on most of these people. Some are retired, or couldn't get work, but many still work regularly, and are "hiding in plain sight," so to speak. Still acting at least semi-regularly over the past few years - mostly in guest roles in episodic television: Hesseman, Sanders, Strassman, Purl, both Reids (who are still married to each other), Lange, Lynda Carter, Loni Anderson, Holliday, and Breck. Many of these people also have their own websites.

Apparently retired: Ken Berry, Richard Anderson (they are elderly, after all). Not elderly, but not acting either:Buddy Foster (perhaps sister Jodie helps him out), and Mitch Vogel. Jameson Parker is a published author.

The Reids moved to Virginia and are in business together operating a production studio.

Anybody with a "tween" daughter like me will know that the Mowery sisters have reprised their Sister,Sister roles from time to time, and have also played other parts in Disney Channel movies

...hardly. Jodie has commented repeatedly in interviews about how badly Buddy has burnt his relationships with her and their mother/manager, Brandy Foster. Last I heard, Buddy was doing construction work in Duluth, Minnesota, but that was circa '99...

Angela Cartwright was one of my earliest crushes from the first pangs of puberty. She went on to become an
award-winning photographer.

I think you are correct....other than Bernard Fox and Erin Murphy (Tabitha) I think they have all passed on. Most of them far too young and in unpleasant ways. Some off-the-wall Christian group is out there peddling the story that this is because they were cursed by the devil for promoting witchcraft.

Somewhat similar with I Married Joan.

Story goes that Jim Backus HATED his role as Judge Brad Stevens so much that he prayed/wished the entire cast would die. Now whether or not Backus actually did this, I don't know but considering that just about everyone on the show died DECADES before Backus in 1989 and in such tragic ways too like Joan Davis ( heart attack ) and Beverly Wills ( a fire that killed her and her sons AND Joan's mother ) both of which happened not long after I Married Joan ended its run, makes me wonder.

It is no secret though that Backus and Davis really didn't like each other.

Someone mentioned Laurie Metcalf. She was on Desperate Housewives last year in several episodes before her character Caroline(if I recall correctly) went psycho after learning of her husband's affair and shot up a grocery store before being killed herself. Oddly enough the actor who played her husband on the show had previously worked with Metcalf during Roseanne's heyday playing Jackie's abusive boyfriend.

Say whatever happened to Christopher Knight of the Brady Bunch fame? He started to have an acting career going but then it fell apart very quickly.

Others I haven't heard from/seen in a long time:

Julianna Margulies
Corbin Bernsen
Susan Dey
Donna Mills
Tracy Scoggins
Fred Dryer
Judith Baldwin
Harry Anderson
Markie Post

Julianna Margulies had a meaty role in the Sopranos a couple of seasons ago. Her character meets Christopher in their mutual 7 step program, they get involved, and get re-addicted to heroin together. Later, she gets clean and ends up being involved with Tony. Good role.

And she's got a Fox network show coming up called Canterbury's Law. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23503980/

Corbin Bernsen plays the father of the main character on Psych (USA Network)
