FORMAT CHANGE ALA B96

Updating the music is not a format change. eliminating songs that are burnt or have stiffed out is not a format change. Adding songs that start testing well is not a format change.

The station is still targeted at the same demos, including age and sex. The imaging, jox and style are closer to what WLIT was a year ago than to any other station.

Painting your house is not the same as buying a new house. Remodeling is not the same as buying a new house. Etc., etc., etc.

Re: It is not a format change.

Stop chasing your tail, skip.... skip.... skip... hello? hello? hello? echooo, echooo, echooo.

Is this thing on? Is this thing on? Is this thing? on.

It's like Max Headroom skipping in frame.

It has surprised nearly everyone in the industry. You, of course, are backpeddaling. The last place most people thought reggaetón would work is LA because the Hisapnic market is 90% Mexican and Mexican American and 9% Central American, where reggaetón was though not to work.

By the way, no non Hispanics are listening in LA, either.

Lite has still not changed format, for all you want to claim it has.

Nobody can have an intelligent and adult conversation with you when discussing radio. We've had our battles about Variety Hits and you were incorrect on you thoughts and now it is hard for you to admit David was right and you're wrong on this issue. Give it up already and enough of the childish behavior.

Rant Mode Off Now

Musiclover II and David E

Can you two just agree to disagree?? Especially you musiclover II. You both have a mind, and an opinion, and a right to that opinion whether someone agrees or disagrees with it.

You both make valid points and I can see each of your views. Maybe Light goes Rhythmic oldies, maybe not. Maybe it is a tweak. Maybe B 96 goes Reggaeton on NYE, maybe they are just playing what they think their audience likes to hear. It is the joy we all have in radio format debates.

Music from your points it looks like you are taking this a tad too personal and attacking just a tad below the belt line. Agree to disagree and be happy about a good discussion!!

Just my .02 cents....
