Format change at 87.7

I was flipping across the dial today and discovered rhat WPGF-LD has changed formats to CCM on 87.7. They're going by the name Rejoice 87.7 and carrying Salem's Today's Christian music format. When did this happen?

In some ways I'd like to see Memphis get back to having a local CCM station, but only if it was actually local. If it stays with Salem full time I'd rather still listen to WAY-FM or K-LOVE. Also considering that it's owned by Flinn, how long will it actually last before being changed to something else?

Must be one of the Franken-FM low-power TV stations that were allowed to continue taking advantage of the loophole the FCC closed for most of them earlier in the year.

In the old analog TV days, 87.7 was the frequency for channel 6. Used to get channel 6 from Paducah that way. Really handy when storms took out the power. We would still have a way to listen. Don't know about 87.9. Never heard about that one. And don't know about how it is now.
