Format change for Mix 929?

They are promoting there giving away Britney Spear and Nicki Minaj tickets away this weekend when they don't even play those two artist. Is this a hint they're changing there format? Or is it just away to keep competition going with Top 40 stations?

I can almost guarantee you that they're not changing formats.

But you know who WOULD want Britney Spears/Nicki Minaj tickets? The daughters of Mix 92.9 listeners. Hence the giveaway.

Won't be too much longer Mix 92.9 will be playing Britney anyway. And that's WITHOUT a format change!

Ugh, I know. I don't want to complain because I'm all for a broader, less sappy format but I heard Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" on there this morning. I think the Rock's the only station I can escape from that song on, haha. It is EVERYWHERE and beyond tired of it. Ok, sorry for the rant.

Now if we could follow Adele with Tran Lady Antebellum and Usher... we could dub he new format "Worn-Out 92.9"

Is it true that Rupert Holmes will be opening for Britney Spears at this show? :-\

If that were to be an actual concert, Mix would virtually guarantee it's #1 status for 10 more years. The real world knows real opening acts when they get the chance to hear them...
