93.3 is spinning the format wheel, the format change will happen on Friday at Noon.

To what? What is left they can do that they have not already tried except putting the ticket on 93.3. Have they really given this format a chance? This will be interesting.

I have no clue, but I know it's a music format.

Well They havent Tried Oldies, Spanish, Country, or The Ticket...

Espanol Por favor? (i hope not)

Rumors that 93.3 will flip to Christian Rock

All Access says it may flip to Classic country, Smooth Jazz or Urban A/C.

God please don't let it be Urban A/C. We don't need 3 stations that we can't hear.

Classic country would be nice, since current, today's young country (or whatever it's called) is garbage.

Smooth Jazz would be nice too, since we don't have a SJ format here anymore.

Yeah that would be nice also. Anything but the redundant formats already crowding the dial.

There's rumors that it might be Christian Rock.

the stunting liners are saying it will be "legendary." so classic country makes sense. and also makes me wonder why i have fm radio capabilities anymore. stupidest name "quality rock" was the only listenable music station in town. on the plus side, i'll bet the regular guys are g-o-n-e gone.

I have heard Dolly Patrton, Michael Jackson, Toni Braxton, Lady Gaga, Pitbull and Black-eyed Peas. I have heard nothing to indicate Christian Rock or Smooth Jazz. I have also heard the moniker "Legends" and they keep playing old air checks from KLIF.

I don't see where Christain Rock would sell very well. Yo uwould have to market it well and promote it. If they were to go Classic Country, they might do some good. Cowboy 1190 started getting numbers before they blew it up and went CNN, and that was on AM!! it might work on FM, see that todays Country Music sucks!

Cumulus has been on a Top 40 flipping binge in recent months, with underperforming stations in Nashville and Indianapolis recently making the switch. Considering KHKS' runaway success and absence of direct competition, the debut of i93 in DFW seems like a very real possibility.
