Format Change Happening at 93.3 on Friday at Noon

How can there be a battle when there's no jocks to fuel the fire..? And if there ARE jocks, they'll be liner jocks, or voice-tracked. Sadly, old skool radio battles died when live, local jocks went away..

I kinda wish that Cumulus would put an Urban AC format on 93.3. Maybe they would do a good job. How well does the other Urban or Urban AC's in the Cumulus family do.
 
All Access is NOW REPORTING 93.3 is going Classic Country. I guess we'll all know in 45 minutes or so.
 
Well, I guess I can take 93.3 off of the presets in my car. Quality rock was fun while it lasted.

I wonder how they plan to compete with 106.1. The 93.3 signal drops out in Johnson County around Alvarado. Sure it is not any better to the north east or west.

I would like the idea of a CHR station, but so far I have heard too much rythmric that just makes it sound like a 'KISS' clone. Loose the hip-hop and you might have good imaging.
