Format change on KBZU?

DoubleC please don't act the fool. Everyone knows KBZU has been on cruise control for over a year as Citadel has been trying to sell that station.

Yes I Know, just having some fun!!!! :)

question why change formats if it is on the block..............Hey what if they could keep it and put the sports animal on it OR simulcast the sports animal on it until it sells and take the thunder away from the late summer launch of sports on 101.7

They can't. The Last Bastion Trust owns the station, not Citadel, and Citadel is not allowed to operate it in any way, shape or form unless another station or two moves into the market and/or the market definition changes.

Spanish ESPN....so much for Bob &Tom ----->Dennis Miller. Guess its time to rig up internet streaming in my bathroom cause I haven't found anything local I like in the AM. Any morning show suggestions?

At least those repetitious ads are gone. Does anyone really fall for a 'back to more music in a minute' spiel for Internet Speedway on an all-talk format? "Where's that phone number.....uhhh" HA!

I hate to say it, but its getting to the point that the radio in my car will be playing mp3's >80% of the time....pop over to KKOB on the sevens once or twice, then hello Apple.

Wow - KBZU has one of the best signals in the market - far better than any of the Santa Fe, Los Lunas, Belen, Bosque Farms, Rio Rancho licenses. And Citadel paid $5M for 96.3 in 1996. The Last Bastion Station Trust has operated KBZU since June of last year. You would think (I would think, at least) that something more mainstream than this would go on this magnificent signal! Not that what was on before was a big deal.

First I think Bob and Tom stink... But you can't say they are 3 time losers if the station they are on gets sold from under them... Formats change and there is plenty of collateral damage. They happen to be caught up in it.
