Format change question

The doings at 93.7 have had me wondering, have there ever been times when any one station changed its format twice within the same calendar year?

I remember when CHR Energy 105 WNRJ went on the air in May of 1989 and flipped to WEZE Easy listening in Jan 1990. So it was very close.

93.7 was b94 then k-rock then the zone then back to b94 all within a year or so

K-Rock lasted much longer than that. I believe the flip was made in 2004.

I worked at 96.9 for a year and a half in the 80's and we were Y97, Magic 97, and Magic Y97 during that time, and they became 97 Rock not too long after that.....

I loved 97 Rock... they used to rip on DVE and it was hilarious. Had much more of an edge than DVE too.
