Format Changes At KTUC?

Has anyone noticed the slight modification KTUC has made to their format? It seems they dumped most of the 40s and 70s cuts and have concentrated on the 50s and 60s.

Has anyone ever heard them in stereo on the Internet? Every time I listen everything is mono, including what should be stereo. I've called and e-mailed and it's all still mono.

That's ok, I think you hit Cruel 1450...I still hear 50's MOR and dead music so nothing has changed....if they go to Scott Shannon's "Real Oldies" and I might just wake up...... ???

Based on a few on-line listens to Kay-Tuck after Fagreed & Co.
jettisoned Jim Bednarek as PD/AMD, it seems KTUC and KGVY
have in effect swapped formats.

KTUC has gone back to a more MOR/standards sound, while
KGVY has "brightened up" (a bit) to something similar to the
Tiresome Classics format on the Giant 580 before it flipped
to Real Country in September 2008.

i do miss bednarek! :'(

Saturdays from 4 until signoff on 1080 KGVY.
He has brought back his '70s show that he did on several other stations pre-KTUC "Breakfast Radio".
