Format drifts

On a different subject...

I have noticed several stations "drifting" in their formats. Here's what I have observed:

River: More 60s classic rock (especially Beatles)
Dave: More AOR and 80s alt, less 90s AAA.
Rock100.5: More active rock, less 80s hair.
Project: Tad more harder 80s AOR, tad less 90s/00s active rock.

My guess is that Rock100.5 and Project are aiming their guns at each other, and River is trying to pre-empt a true oldies station. I don't know what the heck Dave is doing.
