Format Flip in Terre Haute! 102.7

Oldies seems likely to me.

Who cares. They have sucked at everything they have ever done. Why would anyone expect a different outcome this time. It will fail just like...LEZ, Lite Rock, The Crock, WISDOM...did I forget anything?

HAHA! Even though I hope they can pull off something that is good for the market and community, I guess radiojobs hit it on the head. It sounds like they are putting a lot into this stunting, so I guess we will see where it lands on the 13th. I think Country may be possible....They have Party Marty teasing the new station....

How about Rock... You havent had a rock station since WZZQ went away..... Will they try to tackle Mix FM and go CHR?????? Will they go mainstream....Soft AC...?????? Rhythmic AC?????? Polka, Cajun Music, Spanish,,,, Radio Disney,,, or Pure Dance-Hard Techno as FM 102.7 THE RAVE........ And yes,, im just playing--joking on everything I listed past the Rhythmic AC,,,,, Rhythmic AC, CHR POP, or Country dont seem like a good idea,,,, Rhythmic AC fails everywhere,,,, and maybe a younger skewing Young Country Format, or a Rock Leaned,,, or active hits CHR might work,,,, Mix FM is a pretty boring station these days, and Party is about as bad, and its signal is weak.... Smooth Jazz wouldnt probably work here, and its a dying format anyway, Urban or Rhythmic...Doubt it?????? Who knows..... Boring radio in a Boring and Smelly industrial Town.... Damn Paper mill.......

uh.... the paper mill closed several months ago......
how about they just keep the wheel spinning and do a Jack format... oh wait... they have been doing that for a while and it hasn't worked either... do us all a favor, just turn it off... static is something they haven't tried yet and it would probably sound better. If I have to listen to Julie talk for 5 min at a time about the weather, how she loves everything and how she has a facebook page I think I'll puke.... Note: when the music bed runs out SHUT UP ... DON'T JUST START IT OVER! TWICE!

I listened to Julie's "last hour" yesterday and the first few minutes of the roulette wheel.

First, do we actually believe Julie is out? I suspect she'll reappear on one of the Crossroads stations somewhere.
Second, what did you think of the last hour? Julie was quite emotional, but I wasn't really that turned off by it.
Third, could Crossroads not have hired a VO guy to do the tease liners? In the first 15 minutes of roulette, I heard Julie and Marty doing them, which made very little sense.

I would say by listening to the roulette and the B signoff before the stunt, you can expect Adam Michaels, Julie Henricks, and Party Marty to all be a part of the new station. Also, I think it's interesting they are not stunting a pure country format. Maybe that's what will eventually land next Friday??

I'm still hoping for Soft A/C, and nobody has shot that down yet.
