Good idea!

FROM GALL-ACCESS March, 31 2006:

SUSQUEHANNA classic rocker KDBN-93.3 "THE BONE"-DALLAS reimages tomorrow as "JEFF-FM." No change whatsoever in music is planned, but the new theme will be, "PLAYING WHAT NOBODY WANTS." PD JEFF "K" KOVARSKY said, "The station's been my little personal jukebox for three years now; why shouldn't I have my name in the mix?" The station saw another drop in the ratings with this week's Arbitrends. KOVARSKY commented, "At least we're consistent with our decline, and have kept it within a respectable 0.3 drop each month." When asked what's to happen when the ratings finally bottom out at an even 0.0, JEFF said, "It's not like we haven't seen that before. I'm sure we will again."

With the prospects of DALLAS COWBOYS football games coming to KDBN in the fall, KOVARSKY sheepishly admitted, "We'll find some way to screw that up, too."

Meanwhile, CUMULUS BROADCASTING is preparing for a takeover of SUSQUEHANNA in April, and local rumors abound that the Dallas SUSQUEHANNA cluster is prime for a complete makeover. "They can change the (expletive) format to Spanish Disco for all I care," JEFF said. "I'll just stay here in my little room, playing my songs, for my own personal entertainment. Who cares if it doesn't go out over the air anymore?"

Meanwhile, SM DAN BENNETT was spotted at sister KLIF-AM/570 giving Spanish lessons to all the talk show hosts. "We have to be ready, just in case," BENNETT said. A prototype website was discovered on the web, showing the station's current talkers with Spanish-adapted surnames...DARRELL ANKARLEZ, GLENN BECKITO, GREGG KNAPPARITAS and TONY RASTRILLO printed above a screenshot of a Mexico flag.

STAY TUNED!
