This from the 1320 WARL web site:

We are thinking about adding the "Timeless Cool Music" format to our station, particularly at night. If you get a chance, please Google the home page and listen. Let us know if you'd like to hear the music on WARL. Your feedback will help us decide.

If this sample hour is any indication, I actually would listen......but this format would probably be better suited to 990......assuming WALE ever makes it back to the air.
 
With local presence during AM/PM drive and local news, this indeed could work on 990. 1320 should go back to being an Attleboro station, not a Providence rimshot.

I think Timeless Cool could have a niche audience on 990.
