Format survey...

What will be the next HOT format to sweep the nation? I predict we'll have "Radio Newsmagazines" that are similar to what early morning TV shows give you but in a more "creative" format that allows for the listeners to imagine the pictures instead of having to actually see them.

NPR programs, with their creative use of audio, already do this.

Of course, with their heavy production and POV, these items
are more like opinion/feature segments, not news.
