ESPN 800

You know, speaking of Dan Patrick, with all of the trouble that 800 had with improving their signal, I wonder why they don't just give up on Blazin'989 and simulcast ESPN on FM? Sorry for the off topic random thought, but it would be an interesting little move. I mean, how does Blazin' stack up against Z90 these days? Here's a market that already has Magic, 933 and Z90, you have to wonder if it's really worth them to have Blazin' taking up valuable real estate on 98.9.

Just a thought...

Could 1360 be the new affilliate for ESPN Radio? I don't think AM 800 plans to be in the sports format that much longer.

Could be DT, however it's still a stay tuned item. 800 AM is un-listenable at night in Norte County from the hash of 790 and 810 (KABC and KGO).
 
ESPN refuses to allow it's affiliates to carry the new Dan Patrick show. When KXPS 1010 in the Palm Springs market added Patrick it was forced to switch to Fox Sports.
