Former 15er Elias Finally Surfaces in Boston

For those of you keeping track of Phoenix TV alumni, Jonathan Elias former anchor at ABC15, has finally gone back on air at Boston's WBZ after a 6-month hiatus:
http://wbztv.com/video/[email protected]

He's co-anchoring at 5 and 5:30 and reporting at 11 on weekdays for WBZ.

Hmmm...I guess he bumped up a couple of DMA's but he left a main anchor job for this gig? He must have really wanted out at ABC15. One thing that should feel like old times for him -- WBZ is numero last in their market too.

Whatever. Anyway, I believe the only thing he says about Phoenix in his WBZ video interview is that his wife was glad to get out since it's about 175 degrees there (is that F or C ?).

That's reason enough right there to give up an anchoring gig for a reporting gig. If Mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy.

Change 'anchoring gig for a reporting gig' with 'national weatherguesser gig with local weatherguesser and part-time anchoring gig' and now you have Sean McLaughlin.
