former 1600 Chicago Heights license cancelled

It says "AM STATION APPLICATIONS FOR LICENSE TO COVER LICENSE CANCELLED
--------------------------------------------------------------

MI BL- DWONX 39386 KOVAS COMMUNICATIONS OF INDIANA, INC. License cancelled and call
P 1600 KHZ JENISON, MI sign deleted per app's request 4-13-2009. (no letter sent)"

I think this means it will never move to Jenison, Mi. They just turned in the license to allow 1590- to upgrade.

My first thought was that any interference would be over Lake Michigan and therefore would not count.
Now I wonder if Spring Arbor College/University will reapply for Jenison :-\

I doubt that putting the station on the air was ever really in the cards.
